Each life float must be fitted with a lifeline, pendants, two paddles, a painter, and a light. On TONTINE, multiple issues were found with the life float equipment; including but not limited to: The painter line was badly deteriorated, the paddles were not lashed to the life float, and the water light was not mounted and fitted with the proper lanyard. Owner/ operator must correct all defs to meet entirety of 180.175 prior to carrying passengers.

The TONTINE is currently using a float-free link for 11-20 person capacity, but is outfitted with a 22 person life float. Install the appropriate float-free link IAW 160.073 prior to carrying passengers.
