Except where specifically stated otherwise, an existing vessel must comply with the intact stability and seaworthiness regulations which were applicable to the vessel on March 10, 1996, or, as an alternative, the vessel may comply with the regulations in this part. Found the following items removed from the vessel: port and starboard air conditioning units on the bow, port and starboard sewage tanks in the lazarette, fresh water tank on the outside stern of the vessel. Resubmit stability calculations to the Marine Safety Center.
