Port and starboard trampoline nets are two small for the area covered. Replace with appropriate sized neting to cover the entire spaces. No passengers allowed on the nets at anytime including underwar, moored, anchored or docked. 46 CFR 176.802(a)(3)

All independent fuel tanks must be bonded to a common ground. Port and starboard bonding cables are not connected to anything. 46 CFR 182.440(b)(4)

At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of the hull structure and its appurtenances, including the following: Inspection of the condition of the superstructure, masts, and similar arrangements constructed on the hull, and on a sailing vessel all spars, standing rigging, running rigging, blocks, fittings, and sails. During USCG inspection of the fiberglass reinforced composite mast, inspectors noted chalking paint and 10 areas of exposed fiberglass with no paint or coating. All hardware on the mast exhibited signs of rust/corrosion. Replace all sail rigging hardware on the mast, remove hardware no longer used, and apply new protective coating/paint to prevent UV damage to the mast. 46 CFR 176.802(a)(3)

Forestay chainplate and port/starboard shroud chainplates must be removed and replaced due to the age of the vessel combined with no documented history of inspection/replacement since vessel construction circa 1989. Vessel restricted to power propulsion only. Aux sail propulsion prohibited until deficiency reciftied satisfactory.

In accordance with PMP, O/O is required to obtain a 3rd party rigging inspection report annually. Provide 3rd party rigging inspection report to USCG MI's for review.

46 CFR 177.300 Except as otherwise allowed by this subpart, a vessel must comply with the structural design requirements of one of the standards listed below for the hull material of the vessel. Make permanent FRP repairs to original layup schedule in way of temporary repairs port side forward outboard hull above the waterline.

Make repairs to the two forward access hatches where passengers could stand and transit. Currently only single screws are holding the hinges in place on the starboard access hatch and the port hatch is missing hinges.

Purchase additional required flares. Currently the vessel has 8 of the required flares on board the vessel.

Provide the missing saftey chain on the stern access to both hulls to prevent passengers access to the rudder and fuel tank areas.

Make repairs to the cargo netting on the bow trampoline for both and starboard sides. Attending MI's noted openings larger than 4" and wasted securing line being used.

Provide evidence to support that the findings of the mast unstepping and rigging inspection conducted on 22 September 2021 that either repairs have been made or that the findings are superficial and don't compromise the safety of the mast and rigging prior to operating with passengers and ensure compliance NVIC-02-16.

The cognizant OCMI may require that a vessel and its equipment undergo any additional test for inspection deemed reasonable and necessary to determine that the vessel and its equipment are suitable for the service in which they are to be employed. In accordance with USCG NVIC 02-16, multi-hull vessels with typical extruded aluminum or composite masts should have their masts removed to the ground for inspection at a minimum interval of six (6) years. The last unstepping of the mast was attended by the USCG on 17APR2015 and the vessel is overdue for mast unstepping.

Make proper repairs to the following areas: Starboard crossdeck forward crossdeck hatch coaming wood is rotted. Delamination in way of starboard crossdeck forward compartment seam where the forward slope meets the deck. Make ready for inspection and clear debris from lower starboard corner where the slope meets the lower deck of forward center compartment under center inspection hatch. If delamination, wet/dry rot identified during readiness inspection, complete proper repairs.

Provide Marine Radio Operator Permit for the Master.

Lifebuoy waterlight outer o-ring gasket missing. Inner gasket is not providing seal traction. Replace life buoy waterlight.

Port & Stbd fuel tanks missing electrical bonding wires to a common ground.

Stanchion fitting at the top of the forward ladder is cracked. Replace cracked fitting.

Aft port stay for daggerboard control has wasted wooden block. Replace rotted wood block.

The truck on the starboard jib fiberglass is delaminating on top of the cabin

Negative battery post on the port side battery needs replacing.

Fuel tanks need to be strapped down to the vessel.

Light in the starboard aft compartment is hanging.

Vessel found with plastic installed gasoline fuel tanks in an enclosed space under the helm. Remove installed plastic gasoline fuel tanks. Provide proposal for alternate carriage and supply of gasoline fuel.

Demonstrate proper operation of port side bilge high level alarm.

Provide repair or replacement proposal for worn webbing on starboard side trampoline.

Vessel found to have portable fuel tanks stored under seats in passenger area. Portable tanks not labeled as ABYC compliant.

Make permanent repairs to damages areas of hull. See narative for details.

Make permanent repairs to bent rudder post.

Provide repair proposal for stringer cracks in #3 and #4 stringers in port forward compartment.

Provide drug consortium proof of enrollment for all crew members.

Provide corrosion resistant clip for waterlight.

Provide repair proposal for and complete repair of rotten starboard companionway hatch hinge stiffener.

Conduct a 3rd party rigging system survey and submit local CG marine inspector prior to carrying passengers.
