Vessel was found with substantial corrosion on the upper portion of the port chime and the forward bottom plating behind the forepeak void. Vessel shall conduct a gauging thickness test in the presence of a CG marine inspector and renew the plating to good metal if found to be wasted above 25%. Repair proposal shall be submitted to the local OCMI for review and approval prior conducting repairs. 46 CFR 177.01-5
