Cargo ships shall carry at least one rescue boat complying with the requirements of section 5.1 of the Code. The normal equipment of every rescue boat shall consist of one bouyant line and less than 50m in length of sufficient strength to tow a liferaft. The rescue boat which is stored on the starboard side was missing the required tow line. 74 SOLAS(2014) III/31.2
