Each passenger vessel of less than 500 tons gross tonnage must carry at least one rescue boat approved under approval series 160.156 that is equipped as specified in table 199.175 of this part. During inspection of rescue boat that was replacing another vessels damage rescue boat, found the transom where the outboard engine attaches, fiberglass was cracked, missing several pieces of retro tape and fire extinguisher bracket was broken. Must make repairs to the satisfaction of attending CG Marine Inspector.
