Each combination solid stream and water spray firehose nozzle required to be approved under the provisions of this subpart must be of brass or bronze, except for hardware and other incidental parts, which may be of rubber, plastic, or stainless steel, and designed, constructed, tested, and marked in accordance with the requirements of ASTM F 1546 or NFPA 1964. Current fire hose nozzles on vessel are not marked as approved.

The red generator on board is missing its intake air filter and rotating belts guard. It also has an oil leak from what appears to be either an oil system pressure or temperature sensor. Electrical equipment on a vessel must be installed and maintained to provide services necessary for safety under normal and emergency conditions; protect passengers, crew, other persons, and the vessel from electrical hazards, including fire, caused by or originating in electrical equipment, and electrical shock; and minimize accidental personnel contact with energized parts. Remedy the following electrical conditions to satisfaction of local OMCI. 1. Top deck aft, GFCI not working as designed. 2. At top deck bar area, remove extension cord acting as permanent cable for a refer and a GFCI under back counter next to refers is not working. 3. Inside of starboard 30 jacket locker on forward top deck, place wire splice into a junction box and remove excessive cable length. 4. In the potable water space, there is a light fixture extinguished in the overhead. 5. In the aft head on main deck, there is a GFCI not working. 6. In the aft galley area, there is a double outlet box needing a cover plate and there is an overhead exhaust fan with no cover and blades exposed. 7. Properly mount light cord beneath main deck bar. 8. There is an open outlet box in the aft main deck accommodation space. 9. Provide an outlet cover for the junction box beneath the galley sink. 10. Properly mount electrical wires in steering space. 11. Provide outlet covers for open outlets beneath second deck bar. 12. Remove dead end wiring in the space under main deck bar. 13. Provide an outlet cover for the electrical outlet in the closet. 14. The shore power cable connection in the main deck switchboard closet is not fully seated in the stuffing tube.
