Every oil fuel pipe which if damaged would allow oil to escape from a storage, settling or daily service tank situated above e double bottom, shall be fitted with a cock or valve on the tank capable of being closed from a position outside the space. The quick closing remote operated valve was found unable to open from a remote position. (Ship service/day tank)
