At each inspection for certfication and at other times necessary, the inspector will determine that all fire-extinguishing equipment is in suitable condition. Found expired hoses on the engine room fixed CO2 system, found cracked hoses on the OWS CO2 system and Thermal Fluid Heater system. Vessel is not able to operate any machinery within these CO2 protected spaces until hoses are replaced to the satisfaction of attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.
