At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of the hull structure. MI observed 1" fracture in fiberglass above the shaft with active water intrusion.

The Certificate of Inspection...must be posted under glass or other suitable transparent material, such that all pages are visible, in a conspicuous place on the vessel where observation by passengers is likely. Current COI is not displayed or onboard vessel.

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry an adequate and up-to-date Coast Guard Light List. Vessels CG light list has expired. Vessel to acquire new light list to the satisfaction of the marine inspector.

An EAP training program must be conducted for the employer's crewmembers and supervisory personnel. The training program must include at least the following elements: the effects and consequences of drug and alcohol use on personal health, safety, and work environment; the manifestations and behavioral cues that may indicate drug and alcohol use and abuse; and documentation of training given to crewmembers and the employer's supervisory personnel. Supervisory personnel must receive at least 60 minutes of training.Vessels Drug and Alcohol supervisor has not completed 60 minute training. A vessel exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period must undergo a drydock and internal structural examination at least once every two years. Vessel has failed to schedule drydock and internal structural examination within two years of last drydock as listed on the COI.

Each floating waterlight installed after March 11, 1997, must be attached to the lanyard with a corrosion resistant clip. Floating waterlight is spliced around ring buoy, no ability to unclip.

Override toggle switch for Fireboy system is broken.

Restencil name on ring buoy

Replace lifejacket donning placard so that it is visible to passangers.

Prove proper operation of VHF radio. Vessel restricted to 1000 feet from shore until cleared.

Replace as original hose from exhaust to engine manifold for raw water. Hose must meet SAE J 1942 standard.

Mark number of lifejackets stowed in each compartment in accordance with 46 CFR 105.604(f)

Replace as original raw water piping in way of engine exhaust.
