Access to the balcony area above bridge was marked as part of an escape route leaving the sauna and sauna showers, however once on the balcony all doors were locked from the inside and no access to outside stairwell from balcony. As a temporary solution, the vessel removed the locks on the doors for the sauna, sauna shower, and gym spaces as well as updated signage for escape route from exterior side of balcony. Fire control plan indicated the doors to the balcony as the secondary means of escape for the sauna and sauna showers.
