0950-(Electric Equipment in General)- Electrical installations shall be such taht the safety of passngers, crew, and ship from electrical hazards will be ensured. Lighting installations throughout the engine room were missing protective coverings and had exposed wiring. 74 SOLAS (97) V/12(m) - 1510 - 40ac - Ships of 1,600 GT and upwards constructed before 01 Sep 84 shall be fitted with indicators showing the rudder angle while conducting steering gear test. The rudder angle indicators were not matching on bridge and the steering gear room. They were off 03* - 06*.
