1530 - Radar - Each vessel of 10,000 GT or more must have, in addition to the radar system under 33CFR164.35(a), a second marine radar system that operates independently of the first. Vessel's X-Band radar was reported to be malfunctioning. Letter of Deviation was granted to vessel for inbound transit. Vessel's S-Band radar is still operating properly. 33CRF164.37(a)
