Each life jacket must be marked with Type I retroreflective material approved in 46 CFR 164.018 or other standard specified by the Commandant. The arrangement of the retroreflective material applied after March 11, 1996, must be as specified by IMO Resolution A.658(16). 19 of 155 adult life jackets had inadequate retroreflective material. ***Total Persons Allowed reduced to 136 and Passenger Carriage reduced to 133 until retroreflective markings renewed.*** 46 CFR 185.604(h)

Repairs or alterations to the hull, machinery, or equipment that affect the safety of the vessel must not be made without the approval of the cognizant OCMI. Vessel will not be cleared to carry passengers for hire until the following items have been met: 1. Provide this office with a Repair Proposal to address the causative factors and satisfactory repairs to the starboard rudder system. 2. An Out-of-Water Inspection will be conducted by Coast Guard Marine Inspector to ensure the satisfactory condition of the vessel’s hull plating and associated extremities 3. Conduct Non-destructive testing (NDT) on the Starboard and Port rudder systems (internal and external) to ensure that there are no defects in the existing welds. NDT results must be witnessed by a Coast Guard Marine Inspector. 4. Satisfactory sea trails must be conducted in the presence of a certified Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Repairs or alterations to the hull, machinery, or equipment that affect the safety of the vessel must not be made without the approval of the cognizant OCMI. Provide this office with an initial Repair Proposal to address the malfunction of the starboard transmission. Vessel will not be cleared to carry passengers for hire until the following: 1.Provide this office with a service tech report attesting to the causative factors and satisfactory repairs associated with the malfunction on the starboard transmission. 2. Satisfactory sea trials must be conducted in the presence of a certified Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

REPAIR OR REPLACE STBD MAIN DIESEL ENGINE TO ORIGINAL OPERATING STATUS. VESSEL IS NOT TO CARRY PASSENGERS UNTIL AFFECTED REPAIRS ARE TESTED IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ATTENDING MARINE INSPECTOR.
