When minor alterations or minor repairs of tank vessels become necessary such work shall be under the direction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, and shall be in accordance with the regulations in effect at the time the vessel was contracted for or built, or in accordance with the regulations in effect for new construction insofar as possible. IAW D8/D9 TBSIP Guide, company TBSIP Rep reported temporary repair of minor damage. On 23MAR23, a 1/2" X 1" crack was discovered in starboard #2 wing void bilge knuckle approx. 2" forward of the bulkhead. Temp patch installed. Permanent repair shall be completed within 45 days (08MAY2023) to satisfaction of attending CG Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 30.01-10 D8/D9 TBSIPv3.0
