Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. The following deficiencies were identified: 1) Starboard wing void #1 -Hole cut in FWD bulkhead and capped in adjacent space. Crop and renew. 2) Starboard wing void #2 -Overhead longitudinal stiffener welds to transverse frame 6 from forward bulkhead cracked. weld both sides of each crack. -Hole cut in FWD bulkhead and capped in adjacent space. Crop and renew. -Side-shell longitudinal stiffeners 6th from bottom between transverse frames 1 & 2 from forward bulkhead has excessive upward roll. Crop and renew as marked. -Overhead longitudinal stiffener welds to transverse frame 5 from forward bulkhead cracked. weld both sides of each crack. 3) Starboard wing void #3 -Hole cut in FWD bulkhead and capped in adjacent space. Crop and renew. 4) Starboard wing void #4 -Side-shell longitudinal stiffeners 6th from bottom at transverse frames 3 from forward bulkhead has excessive deformation, two full width cracks, and cracked welds. Crop and renew as marked. -Hole cut in FWD bulkhead and capped in adjacent space. Crop and renew. 5) Port wing void #3 -Outboard overhead longitudinal stiffener at transverse frame 3 from forward bulkhead welds cracked. Weld cracks on both sides as required. 6) Stern/Aft Void -Port side 1st transverse frame from forward bulkhead between longitudinal stiffeners 2 & 5 IWO side-shell wasted. Crop and renew as required. -Port side longitudinal stiffener 5th from bottom between forward bulkhead and 1st transverse frame IWO of side-shell wasted. Crop and renew as required. -Hole cut in FWD bulkhead and capped in adjacent space. Crop and renew.
