Any pneumatic control system on board, that in the judgement of the Commandant, constitutes a hazard to the safety of personnel. The hoses to and from (supply and return) the air starter are deteriorated. Replace the hoses.

Any tank vessel which is equipped with an internal combustion engine driven cargo pump on the weather deck shall be provided with a minimum of one remote manual shutdown station, conspicuously marked, and located at the midpoint of such vessel, or 100 feet from the engine, whichever is the more practical. The remote quick acting manual shutdown shall be installed on the engine so as to provide a quick and effective means of stopping the engine (such as by cutting off the intake air). Emergency stop assembly broken and re-assembled with zip ties. Return emergency stop assembly to original configuration.

All cargo tank hatches must be clearly marked in not less than three inch lettering “Danger - Keep Out,” and all hatch covers must be closed and dogged down in such a way that the hatch cannot be opened by the use of bare hands alone. Danger - Keep Out labels faded and hard to read. Re-apply label as required.

Boilers, main and auxiliary machinery, and piping systems shall conform to the requirements of subchapter F. Normally, materials, items of equipment, or installations in vessels which have been accepted and passed as satisfactory and meeting the applicable requirements in this subchapter then in effect and which are maintained in good and serviceable condition to the satisfaction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, may be continued in use until replacement is deemed necessary by such officer or as specified in the regulations. Starter hand pump gauge broken. Replace gauge with new.

Reweld 2 cracks in the sheer strake, port side, 4 and 5 feet back from the bow. LEGACY COMPONENT DESC: Weld

REPAINT THE RED SIGNAL FLAG.

REPAINT THE VESSEL DRAFT MARKINGS AS NECESSARY.

REPACK THE PACKING GLANDS ON THE CARGO PUMP SHAFT. THIS ITEM IS TO BE COM-PLETED PRIOR TO OPERATING THE CARGO PUMP.

REPAINT THE EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN SIGN.

DRAIN THE STARBOARD SIDE CONTAINMENT DRIP PAN. THIS ITEM IS TO BE COM- PLETED PRIOR TO OPERATING THIS PARTICULAR SYSTEM OR THE DATE OF COMPLIANCE,WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST.
