Complete third party mast and rigging condition survey on all of MERCANTILE's masts and spars. A written copy of the report shall be provided to the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector. The following provisions apply: 1) The survey must be conducted to determine that all masts on board the MERCANTILE are in suitable condition for the service whit it is employed. 2) The survey shall include an underway examination to effectively inspect the rigging system under dynamic load. This shall be conducted in the presence of a Coast Guard Marine Inspector Marine Surveyor in addition to the Marine Surveyor. 3) Testing of the internal condition of the masts must be included as part of the survey. 4) The mast and rigging condition survey must be acceptable to an attending Marine Inspector from MSD Belfast. This requirement shall be corrected and cleared prior to the the MERCANTILE carrying any passengers for hire.

Fire pump non operational / starting. Repair replace gas engine pump, prove proper operation.

PER IFR issued Dec 2021, with requirements to be met by 28 Mar 2022, your vessel is restricted to daytime operations only, no overnight passengers may be carried until you meet the mandated requirements issued in the 2021 IFR. This is to include a written plan addressing your intentions and implementation of the IFR proposal.

Replace 6V lantern batteries in floating waterlights.

Provide 1 additional child sized PFD. Resticted to carriage of 3 persons weighing less than 90 pounds until corrected.

Vsl to be checked for watertight integrity of the hull and bilges following the hull exam and repairs; PCP.

INSTALL PROPER FLOAT-FREE WEAKLINK (400 TO 536 LBS) FOR LIFEFLOAT/BUOYANT APPARATUS INSTALLATION.

ATTACH LIFEFLOAT WATERLIGHTS AROUND BODY OF LIFEFLOATS WITH LANYARDS (3/8" x 18').

SEPARATE STACKED LIFEFLOATS WITH SPACERS TO KEEP UNITS APART.

PROVIDE TWO (02) PADDLES (MARKED WITH VESSEL'S NAME) FOR EACH LIFEFLOAT.
