A vessel must be operated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and in such a manner as to afford adequate precaution against hazards that might endanger the vessel and the persons being transported.
The fuel shut off valve is located in a difficult to access area and due to the engine not having a gear box(always in forward motion while running), the fuel shut off should be able to be activated from the operating station in the event of an emergency.
