A towing vessel may not be operated without having onboard a valid COI issued by the Coast Guard. Vessel COD lists service as a towing vessel, and the vessel has not scheduled an inspection or obtained a COI. Vessel must complete a new COI inspection prior to operation as a towing vessel.
*Alternatively: The vessels Worksite Exclusion - Sub M Exemption (WSE-SME) expired 13Jun2026. Vessel may request a new WSE-SME, and once approved this deficiency may be cleared.
