Shutoff valves, installed so as to close against the fuel flow, must be fitted in the fuel supply lines, one at the tank connection and one at the engine end of the fuel line to stop fuel flow when servicing accessories. The shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located, preferably from an accessible position on the weather deck.
During test of fuel shutoff valves, valves were unable to close completely allowing fuel flow. Valve was able to close approximately 70%.

Noted an outlet with charring on it near the bridge consul. Upon further investigation of the wires, outlets and circuit breakers: the vessel has a mix match of 20 amp outlets with 14 AWG and 15 and 20 amp circuit breakers. Requiring the 20 amp outlets be replaced with 15 amp outlets. Also all the circuit breakers need to be changed to 15 amps. The other option is to rewire the vessel.
