ANTON TOPIC is a 1996 freight ship. The Coast Guard has recorded 8 inspections since 2016, most recently in September 2018, along with 10 deficiencies and 2 operational controls.
Records from 2016 to 2018. Most recent: inspection, 20 September 2018.
This record may be incomplete: the most recent inspection recorded for this vessel was 8 years ago. Maury shows what the Coast Guard recorded, not whether the vessel has been inspected since, is still in service, or what condition it is in. Coast Guard record current through 23 August 2026, retrieved 5 September 2026 from PSIX. Every field on this page was recorded by the Coast Guard. Records for the Bulk Carrier class in Maury's sources begin in 2016.
Every line above is a count of records the US Coast Guard wrote, or a date it recorded.
A blank resolution means none was recorded in this data; it does not establish that a
deficiency is outstanding. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record
exists, not years in service. What Maury does
not do.
Tonnage as PSIX records it26250 - Convention (Subpart B), Gross Ton 53181 - Displacement, Metric Ton 45496 - Dead Weight, Metric Ton 14198 - Convention (Subpart B), Net Ton 26250 - Regulatory (Subpart C or D), Gross Ton 14198 - Regulatory (Subpart C or D), Net Ton
This hull's Official Number is not in the NVDC file dated 10 August 2026 as served by NOAA Fisheries, so no documentation record is shown. Absence from that file is a fact about the file, not about the hull.

Issued 6 September 2018Resolved
15110 - Documentation-ISM - The company should establish procedures to ensure that the ship is maintained in accordance with the provisions of the relevant rules and regulations and with any additional requirements which may be established by the company. Due to a lack of proper procedures for the operation of the OWS, and no procedural requirement to document equipment nonconformity, the PSCO questions the adequacy and/or implementation of the vessel's SMS under the ISM code. An external audit is recommended to be conducted by the flag state or RO to determine whether the ship is operating in accordance with the ISM code. Issued 6 September 2018Resolved
14107 - Oil discharge monitoring and control system - Oil filtering equipment... shall also be provided with arrangements to ensure that any discharge of oily mixtures is automatically stopped when the oil content of the effluent exceeds 15 ppm. In considering the design of such equipment and approvals, the administration shall have regard to the specification recommended by the organization. The automatic stopping device should consist of a valve arrangement installed in the effluent outlet line of the 15 ppm bilge separator which automatically diverts the effluent mixture from being discharged overboard back to the ship's bilges or bilge tank when the oil content of the effluent exceeds 15 ppm. Port state control officers found that the oily water separator's three way valve is not connected to the system because the valve stem is snapped and the air control system does not actuate the valve.
