Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers should be examined for loss of content annually. They should be recharged if the loss of gas by weight exceeds 10% of the original charge as stamped on the bottles. Portable CO2 fire extinguisher in the galley was found to be discharged completely. (CCSS Code 3.6.8.2)
