CG001: Annual inspection. Your vessel must undergo an annual inspection within the 3 months before or after each anniversary date. The vessel gone beyond 3 months of their annual inspection. Passengers may not be carried until an inspection is completed. 46 CFR 176.500(b)(1)

The owner or managing operator shall notify the cognizant OCMI as far in advance as possible whenever a vessel is to undergo repairs or alterations affecting the safety of the vessel, together with the nature of any repairs or alterations contemplated. Hull repairs or alternations that affect the safety of the vessel include but are not limited to the replacement, repair, or refastening of planking. Transom planking in way of starboard corner, adjacent to starboard freeing port, is wasted and rotting. Submit repair proposal for OCMI approval prior to commencing repairs prior to completion of next dry-dock. 46CFR176.665(a)
