The inspection shall be such as to insure that the vessel, as regards the fire-detecting and extinguishing equipment, is in satisfactory condition and fit for the service for which it is intended. During testing of the fixed CO2 system, cracks were identified in a CO2 check valve, allowing gas to escape and cause the time delay to go over the maximum allowable time. Repair/replace check valve and retest in the presence of MI. 46 CFR 91.25-10 27MAY2025: Granted vessel permission to travel to fuel dock on 5/27/25 and back to pier.
