During inspection, the port rudder post was observed to be leaking and compromises watertightness in a critical hull penetration. Identify the source of the leakage and conduct appropriate repairs to restore watertight integrity. All work must be verified by the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 177.100 701c
