After any survey of the ship under Article 14 has been completed, no change shall be made in the structure, equipment, arrangements, material or scantlings covered by the survey, without the sanction of the Administration.
There is an inset on the aft port quarter, between frames 7, 8 and 9, the latter of which appears to be compromised externally. Internally the damage cannot be assessed without destroying the false, decorative bulkhead. ICLL 66/88, Article 15.
Action required: 16 - Rectify deficiencies w/in 14 days

Resolution: Class had the decorative bulkhead removed and assessed the frames internally. No further action considered necessary.

The fire resistance doors shall be equivalent to to that of the division in which they are fitted. Doors fitted in boundary bulkheads of machinery spaces of category A shall be resaonably tight and self-closing.
