Each nonmetallic transfer hose and transfer pipe system must be subjected to a static liquid pressure test of at least l.5 times the maximum allowable working pressure annually. Additionally the pressure at which the hose was tested must not be marked on the hose. The ship's portable cargo hoses are not marked with the MAWP and are instead marked with the test pressure.
