At each inspection for certification and at every other vessel inspection all observed unsafe practices, fire hazards, and other hazardous situations must be corrected and all required guards and protective devices must be in satisfactory condition. The deck in the main cabin is raised and presents a trip hazard for passengers on the vessel. The area of the deck in front of the door to the vessel's aft deck is tripping hazard, while passengers are entering and exiting the main cabin. The vessel owner is required to repair the raised area of the deck to remove the trip hazard to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector. (46CFR176.830(a))
