Gasketing material needs replacement on front hatch & collision bulkhead access cover.

Portside fuel fill tube is chaffing hull plate, adjust fill tube &/or install chaffing material.

Ring life buoy light inoperative, replace battery or light. ** limited visibility & night operations are prohibited until corrected.

Both stability letter & addendum need to be displayed in the wheelhouse.

Fire station requires correct size spanner wrench.

Starboard remote fuel shutoff valve inoperable. Make fuel shutoff valve operable to the satisfaction of the Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Starboard tachometer at the operating station not functioning. Make starboard tachometer function correctly to the satisfaction of the Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Watertight containers for distress flares shall be clearly marked in legible contrasting letters at least 0.5 inches high: DISTRESS SIGNALS. Flare container is not marked. Mark the flare container IAW the noted regulation.

Operator is required to have on board a valid FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit as per 47 CFR 80.159. Operator does not have FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit. Obtain FCC Marine Radio Operator Permit for operator.

Vessel is required to have on board a valid FCC Safety certificate, as per 47 CFR 80.401. Vessel does not have FCC Safety certificate. Obtain FCC safety certificate for vessel.

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date: U.S. Coast Pilot, and Coast Guard Light List. Vessel does not have an up to date Coast Pilot and Light List. Provide appropriate excerpts of the Coast Pilot and Light List.

Electrical equipment on a vessel must be installed and maintained to protect passengers and crew from electrical hazards. Under the bridge console, multiple dead end wires are present on the stbd side. Properly terminate the dead end wires to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

Each ring life buoy on a vessel must be approved in accordance with 46 CFR 160.050. The retro reflective tape is peeling from the life ring. Replace retro reflective tape to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

Each ring life buoy on a vessel must be approved in accordance with 46 CFR 160.050. Ring life buoy is torn at the inside seam. Conduct permanent repairs IAW manufacturer's instructions or replace Ring Life Buoy, prior to next operating season.

A seat must be constructed to minimize injury. The most aft seat on the main deck, stbd side, is not properly secured to the deck to prevent movement. Secure seat to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

A vessel must comply with the structural design requirements of one of the standards listed in 46 CFR 177.300. In the forepeak, the following welds were found cracked: the fifth weld from the bow, between the deck and hull, on the stbd side. 2 welds on the stbd stringer next to the keel, in the forward most portion of the space. A crack was found in the bracket between the first transverse frame in the bulkhead. In the second space from the bow, the following welds were found cracked: the weld between the first transverse frame from the aft bulkhead and the fifth longitudinal frame from the keel, on the port side. The weld between the third transverse frame from the aft bulkhead and fifth longitudinal frame from the keel, on both sides of the frame, on the port side. A longitudinal frame is cracked, on the port side near the keel. The weld between the first transverse frame from the forward bulkhead and the third longitudinal from the keel, on the port side. The weld between the fourth transverse frame from the aft bulkhead and the third longitudinal frame from the keel on the stbd side. In the fuel tank space, the stiffener on the forward bulkhead has 4 cracked welds on the topside of the stiffener. Repair all cracked welds and frames prior to next operating season, to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

Flexible nonmetallic hose must meet SAE J-1942. The return fuel line to the stbd fuel tank is chaffed. Temporarily place chaffing protection on line w/in 2 weeks and permanently replace line prior to next operating season. Place chaffing protection on the port fuel tank return fuel hose w/in 2 weeks.

Remote fuel shutoff stations must be marked in clearly legible letters at least 1 inch high indicating purpose of the valve and direction of operation. No marking is present for the port side fuel shutoff valve. Provide appropriate markings to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector.

All unsafe practices and hazardous situations must be corrected. The ladder into the aft laz is sheered at the bottom welds. Repair ladder prior to next operating season.

Electrical equipment must be maintained to provide services necessary for safety. The electrical cable leads to the generator battery are loose. Tighten battery connections.

Properly support genset battery leads to prevent chaffing & minimize electrical hazard.

Remove and replace low charged operating station B-1 (10-B:C) portable fire extinguisher. Extinguisher must be replaced prior to carrying passengers.

Replace expired distress signals.

Make engineroom hatch cover properly latch

Post stability letter in pilothouse.

Post emergency procedures in pilothouse.

Repair all cracked weldds as marked at next hull exam.
