Where ends of stranded conductors are to be clamped under terminal screws, they shall be formed and soldered unless fitted with pressure terminal connectors listed by Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. Terminal boards located behind console were fitted with non-authorized terminal connectors. Vsl currently has flat spade connectors, but is required to have flanged or ring terminal connectors due to vsl vibration.
