SHALL BE OF A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ADEQUATE FOR THE SERVICE FOR WHICH THEY ARE INTENDED AND SHALL BE SO INSTALLED AND PROTECTED AS TO REDUCE TO A MIMIMUM ANY DANGER TO PERSONS ON BOARD. PSCO FOUND SIGNIFICANT EXHAUST LEAK FROM THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR THAT FILLED THE SPACE WITH EXHAUST.SHIP CREW FOUND CLOSED VENTILATION FLAP AND OPENED. NO EXHAUST FOUND IN THE SPACE ONCE OPENED.
