Additional piping connected to bilge suction line before the bilge pump is not in approved piping plans. Piping is blanked off IAW Marpol Anx I unified interpretation (16) but has not been approved by Administration. Piping presents a possible impropoer tie in with the bilge capable of discharging overboard with the use of a portable pump.
