Vessel deck rail courses are not adequeately spaced. Vessel owner corrected this by dividing the 10 inch gap with another course in each gap. The 5 inch gap is now one inch greater than the regulation, but was deemed adequate as closing the gap to the required 4 inches would require an entire rebuild of the entire rail.
