Resolution: Vessel contacted manufacturer and carried out a manufacturer approved temporary repair. Vessel was attended by class surveyor who attested to the satisfactory temporary repair and imposed a timeline for the full repair.

Vessel's fire fighting foam certificate states foam is unacceptable. The concentrate test sample which was tested by UNITOR 13MAY08 is not acceptable. Resolution: Gratings over the cargo containment and cranes: New gratings were found installed on both port and starboard side cargo manifold containments. Gratings on the cranew were found newly painted and free of rust on corrosion.

Resolution: Watertight doors on deck: All watertight doors on the main deck were inspected and found in order. The rubber gaskets were found newly replaced and the steel doors with all corroded areas at the edge grit blasteed and painted.
