THE POSITION OF THE DECK LINE AS INDICATED ON THE VESSELS INTERNATIONAL LOAD LINE CERTIFICATE STATES THAT IT SHALL BE PLACED 4 INCHES BELOW THE VESSELS FREEBOARD. THE DECK LINE WAS FOUND TO BE 16 INCHES BELOW THE VESSELS FREEBOARD INVALIDATING THE LOAD LINE AND ADJOINING CERTIFICATE. VESSEL NEEDS TO HAVE ITS CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY ATTEND THE VESSEL TO CORRECT THE PLACEMENT OF THE LOAD LINE.
