If more than one device is stowed in that location, the number of devices shall also be indicated. Life-saving stowage locations did not have corresponding number of equipment stowed in that location throughout vessel.

The space containing the fire pump shall not be contiguous to the boundaries of machinery spaces of category A or those spaces containing main fire pumps. Where as not practicable, the common bulkhead between the two spaces shall be insulated to a standard of structural fire protection equivalent to that required for a control station. PSCO observed a puncture in A-60 insulation between machinery space and steering gear room where emergency fire pump is located. 32.3.3 Additional immersion suits of an appropriate size shall be provided at these locations for the number of persons normally on watch or working at those locations at any time.
PSO observed 2 crew members, the 2nd and 3rd Engineers, do not have immersion suits of an appropriate size at their watch station or personal quarters.
