A vessel that is exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a drydock examination and an internal structural at least once every two years. Vessel's drydock examination was due by 31Mar2026. Vessel is overdue for it's drydock examination. Conduct a drydock examination prior to carriage of passengers to the satisfaction of the attending USCG Marine Inspector.

A vessel of not more than 26 feet in length must carry a minimum of one life buoy of not less than 20 inches in diameter. Grab line for lifebuoy is rotted, replace grab line or replace lifebuoy.

All vessels must have navigation lights that are in compliance with the applicable sections of the International and Inland Navigation Rules. Stern light is not operational. Prove proper operation of stern light.

A marine employer shall comply with the requirements of 46 CFR 4.06 for random drug testing. Maritime Consortium documentation for random drug testing is expired, provide updated Maritime Consortium list.

Each ring life buoy with a floating waterlight must have a lanyard of at least 3 feet in length, but not more than 6 feet, securing the waterlight around the body of the ring life buoy. Waterlight lanyard is rotted, renew lanyard for the waterlight.

A vessel of less than 12 meters in length shall be provided with a means of making an efficient sound signal. Vessel has no sound signaling device onboard. Provide a sound signalling device.

The master shall conduct sufficient drills and give sufficient instructions to make sure that all crew members are familiar with their duties during emergencies that necessitate thier duties in case of a fire or the recovery of persons who have fallen overboard. Drills and training shall be logged or otherwise documented for review by the Coast Guard upon request. The drill entry shall include the following information: (1) Date of the drill and training; and (2) General description of the drill scenario and training topics. Vessel has no log book or record of conducting drills. Conduct drills and log, provide documentation to the satisfcation of the USCG Marine Inspector that drills have been conducted.

Navigation lights are not operational. Vessel restricted to day light operations until repaired.

To maintain a valid Certificate of Inspection,you must complete your annual inspection within the 3 months before or after each anniversary date. Annual inspection was not conducted within required time frame. Complete annual inspection prior to carriage of passengers.

The owner or managing operator shall provide satisfactory evidence of the required servicing of portable fire extinguishers by a qualified servicing facility to the marine inspector. The vessel's portable fire extinguisher had not been serviced since March 2022. Portable fire extinguisher must be serviced by a qualified servicing facility.

A vessel must carry an approved first-aid kit in a suitable, watertight container that is marked "First-Aid Kit" and made easily visible and available to the crew. Vessel's pre-packaged Orion first-aid kit was expired. Install a serviceable first-aid kit that meets the criteria of ISO 18813 (see Federal Register Vol. 87, No. 218).

Placards containing instructions for the donning and use of the life jackets aboard the vessel must be posted in a conspicuous place that is regularly accessible to the crew and passengers. No placard was available to the crew and passengers. Install a life jacket placard, taking into account the type of life jackets.

VESSEL'S LIFERING WAS FOUND DETERIORATED AND UNUSABLE. VESSEL DIRECTED TO REPLACE LIFERING PRIOR TO THE CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS.

Rules in this subpart (Rules 20-31)shall be complied with in all weathers. Vessel's stern light is inoperable.

Flexible fuel delivery line was found kinked and rotted from the fuel filter to the outboard engine. Vessel directed to replace the fuel line, prior to the carriage of passengers.

Vessel overdue for annual inspection. Complete annual inspection prior to carrage of passengers.

The battery in the water light was expired.

The marking for the storage of the life jacket did not reflect the number of life jackets required on board.

The mast head light was not operational.
