A survey shall be made every time an accident occurs or a defect is discovered which affects the safety of the vessel. The survey shall be such as to insure that the necessary repairs or renewals have been effectively made and that the material and the workmanship of such repairs or renewals are in all respects effectively made; vessel was involved in an allision with a Navy RHIB vessel while docked at NAS Pensacola pier sustaining a 1.5 inch deep over 1 ft span deformation above the waterline on the stern side shell in way of the stbd #08 ballast tank. No other damage was reported. Vessel is to undergo ABS survey and damage assessment and provide report to Sector Mobile prior to vessel movement.

In the event of alterations involving the safety of the vessel, the applicable plans shall be submitted for approval covering the proposed work. Fire control: general arrangement plans showing for each deck the control stations, the various fire sections enclosed by the fire resisting bulkheads, the arrangement of the alarm and extinguishing systems, ventilation systems, details of the alarm system, and details of the extinguishing system.
The approved General Arrangement Plan dated 26MAY2015 only shows a stove top. It does not reflect the Deep Fat Fryer which is on-board. A new ventilation hood was install which services the stove and the Deep Fat Fryer.
Submit plan reviews to MSC for approval to address the new equipment on-board, electrical installation, and any needed fire fighting equipment. Provide an updated approved Fire Safety Plan to the CG which addresses the alternation of the galley equipment.
