The vessel suffered a loss of propulsion throttle control due to a loss of the pilot house 12VDC battery power. Determine the cause of the power failure, make permanent repairs, and conduct sea-trials in the presence of a Marine Inspector.

Vessel Company engineers are unable to determine cause and have hired dive service to further investigate. Vessel is restricted from any passenger operations until cause, repair and operational test are complete to the satisfaction of the local OCMI.
