Inspect all visible interior and exterior parts of the hull. MI observed pitting near keel on the port side space aft of the collision bulkhead. Vessel permitted to operate for a maximum of 30-days so long as the crew inspects this space for water intrusion each time prior to getting underway. Vessel required to pull out of the water for further inspection by [name withheld]/replacement plans must be approved by MI prior to conducting work. 46CFR176.25-5

Resolution: MI approved clad weld repair procedure for 07 clad welds on the port side near the keel and 08 clad welds on the starboard side near the keel. MI inspected clad welds, all sat.
