Hydraulic power-operated steering gear shall be provided with a fixed storage tank having sufficient capacity to recharge at least one power actuating system, including the reservior. PSCOs found the fixed holding tank for the steering gear system was not of sufficient capacity to refill one of the power actuating systems.
Action required: 10 - Deficiency Rectified
Resolved 28 December 2019
Resolution: Crew refilled the holding tank.
