Controls and valves for operation of fixed gas fire extinguishing system must be located outside the space protected by the system. The vessel's time delay is located within the space protected by the extinguishing system. O/O is to locate system controls outside the protected space to the satisfaction of attending marine inspector prior to the 2027 operating season. 46CFR181.410(a)

All electrical equipment and circuits must be clearly marked and identified. Several electrical breakers were not labeled with service. O/O to identify and mark breakers with service to satisfaction of attending marine inspector. 46CFR183.220(d)

The person in command of a documented vessel must have on board that vessel the original Certificate of Documentation currently in effect for that vessel. Vessel's COD onboard stated vessel was 108 GRT which exceeds subchapter "T" tonnage requirements. O/O to provide accurate and valid COD for the vessel to satisfaction of attending marine inspector. 46CFR67.313(a)

Except as otherwise provided in this section every vessel must be fitted with a suitable magnetic compass designed for marine use, to be mounted at the primary operating station. Except on a vessel limited to daytime operations, the compass must be illuminated. Vessel's compass at the upper operating station was extinguished. O/O to reapair/replace magnetic compass light to satisfaction of attending marine inspector. 46CFR184.402(c)

For fixed-gas fire extinguishing systems, the inspections and tests required by Table 176.810(b) of this section, in addition to the tests required by 46 CFR 147.60 and 147.65. The owner or managing operator must provide satisfactory evidence of the required servicing to the marine inspector. If any of the equipment or records have not been properly maintained, a qualified servicing facility may be required to perform the required inspections, maintenance procedures, and hydrostatic pressure tests. Installed fire extinguishing servicing report was not available for inspection. O/O to provide annual servicing reports of the installed fixed gas extinguishing system and the portable fire extinguishers. 46CFR176.810(b)(2)
