At each inspection, the owner or managing operator shall have the vessel ready for inspections of the hull structure and its appurtenances. A crack was identified in the hull gel coat with water weeping approximately 1 inch above the keel on the port side below the transducer. Grind the gel coat back and prepare the area for further inspection.

Remote fuel shutoff stations must be marked in clearly legible letters at least 25 millimeters (1 inch) high indicating purpose of the valve and direction of operation. Fuel shutoff markings were barely legible and need to be re-stenciled.

Whenever damage or deterioration to hull plating or structural members that may affect the seaworthiness of a vessel is discovered or suspected, the cognizant OCMI may conduct an internal structural examination in any affected space...and may require the vsl to be dry docked to assess the extent of the damage. Found wood rot on a starboard bottom plank located in the forward compartment, in way of the previously plugged through-hull fitting. Vessel is directed to submit a repair proposal to adequately address noted rot to the satisfaction of the attending CGMI during winter haul out period of 2022-2023, no later than March 01, 2023. 46 CFR 176.600(d) NVIC 07-95

Found a wooden plug in what appears to be a keel bolt pilot hole; located in the engine compartment, directly aft of the transverse frame that has the exhaust manifold strapped down to it. Vessel is directed to haul the vessel, make determination with the attending marine inspector if the plug is covering a missing keel bolt, no later than March 01, 2023. 46 CFR 176.600(d) NVIC 07-95

Each ring life buoy with a floating waterlight must have a lanyard of at least 3ft but not more than 6ft in length. Line is worn and falling apart.
