Marine employers must establish programs for the chemical testing for dangerous drugs on a random basis of crewmembers on inspected vessels who are required by law or regulation to hold a credential issued by the Coast Guard in order to perform their duties on the vessel. MI observed the master of the vessel was not enrolled in a random testing program and had no evidence of drug screening since May of 2024. Vessel restricted from carriage of passengers until a licensed master with proper enrollment and testing records is provided.
