The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. The ship experienced an engine room fire while departing berth. Ship secured main engine, ensured no personal were in the engine room and released CO2 into the space. Ship was able to moor back at berth with the assistance of tugs.
