Port State Control Officers Observed two fuel oil purifiers in the main engine room leaking an excessive amount of flammable oil into under space and adjacent machinery. 74SOLAS(04)II-1/26.1

Resolution: Class attended vessel in Burns Harbor, IN to verify repairs were conducted. Class approved repairs. MSU Chicago will receive class report noting repairs.
