The area of operation for each vessel and any necessary operational limits are determined by the cognizant OCMI, and recorded on the vessel's Certificate of Inspection. Currently the CORA BETH is only authorized to operate between Portland Head, Maine and Race Point, Massachusetts. The CORA BETH is planning to operate in the Sector Key West OCMI zone during winter months, as such, the vessel is required to have an In-Service Inspection. Prior to carrying passengers for hire, the vessel shall be inspected by the cognizant OCMI (Sector Key West) to determine its new specific operational constraints and route limitations.
