Port State Control Inspector noted various (fire) heat detector units outer covering melted/burned. It was relayed to the inspector that this happened during testing of said units. Vessels crew could not provide testing procedures to Port State Control inspector. Vessel is to procure proper test procedures for heat detectors and log the tests. SOLAS 2004 Chap II-2 Reg. 7.3.2
