Each lifesaving appliance must be in good working order and ready for immediate use at all times when the unit is in operation. Lifeboat 1 (starboard) was documented to have a defective hydrostatic release interlock cable on the annual servicing report. Cable and diaphragm were replaced by RMS/rig mechanic, but there was no documentation of testing after replacement. Provide documentation proving proper operation of the hydrostatic interlock system. No international certificates (Load Line, IOPP, IAPP, Cert of Classification, LI MODU Cert, etc.) presented during the exam had annual endorsements. Units which were constructed prior to 1 Oct 1996, must meet 46 CFR 108.525, or (ii) totally enclosed fire protected lifeboats. Current arrangement of air distribution system is 3 ea bottles at 2000psi with a max pressure of 2400psi. The placard states the system pressure is to be 2000psi. The operating instructions were referenced for accuracy and it was found that the pressure should be max pressure of 2800psi with an operating pressure of 2640psi. Rectify.
